My name is Daniel and I run Sorry State Records, an extremely small independent record label concentrating on hardcore and punk rock, mainly on vinyl. I spend a lot of time (probably too much) dealing with my label and the two bands I play in, and I’m starting this blog as a way to catalog and assess the time I spend on these endeavors. I’m not sure how this blog will evolve, but I imagine that it will be interesting for people interested in independent music or perhaps even independent businesses in general.
